The Therapeutic Behavioral Services Program is a set of community-based clinical services designed to work with counseling services to help clients transfer their learning from the therapeutic office to the community.
These services help individuals who have difficulties with social interaction, communication, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and/or independent living skills. The clinical staff is trained professionals who work with clients to develop and practice these skills in the community to fully restore social skills.
Our team’s goal!
Restoration of social skills. RBH provides rehabilitation and support with the restoration of social and interpersonal skills to increase community tenure. Services will enhance personal relationships while establishing support networks to learn how to manage symptoms on your own. Each licensed professional will insist on increasing community awareness while learning coping strategies. RBH will bring the services to you to promote effective functioning in our patients’ social environment including their home, work, and school.
Some activities include but are not limited to:
- Restoration of daily functioning.
- Assisting the individual to restore daily functioning specific to managing their own home including managing their money, medications, and using community resources and other self-care requirements.
- Crisis prevention and amelioration.
- Assisting the patient with effectively responding to or avoiding identified precursors or triggers that would risk their remaining in a community setting or that result in functional impairments.
- We will assist the patient and their family members or other collaterals with identifying a potential psychiatric or personal crisis, and developing a crisis management plan that supports restoring stability and functioning.
